Введение.

Дисциплина относится к базовой части ОПОП. Дисциплина «Иностранный язык» готовит студентов к овладению профессиональными дисциплинами ООП на основе иноязычных источников информации, включая научную и техническую литературу, специализированную периодику, а также современные интернет-ресурсы. Для изучения дисциплины «Иностранный язык» в вузе студент должен владеть, как минимум, основами устной речи и чтения на изучаемом иностранном языке в объеме, предусмотренном программой средней общеобразовательной школы. В результате овладения иностранным языком студент получает возможность участвовать в международном студенческом обмене, в том числе практиках и стажировках по специальности в зарубежных странах, а также слушать лекции, участвовать в семинарах и международных проектах и научных конференциях, реализуемых при помощи изучаемого иностранного языка.

1.1 Ecology.

Ecology is the study of the relationships between organisms and their environment. Ecology emerged in the late 20th century as one of the most popular and most important aspects of biology. The word ecology was coined by a German zoologist Ernst Haeckel, who applied the term oekologie to the "relation of the animal both to its organic as well as its inorganic environment". The word comes from the Greek oikos, meaning "household, home, or place to live". Thus ecology deals with the organism and its environment. The word environment includes both other organisms and physical surroundings. It involves relationships between individuals within a population and between individuals of different populations. These interactions between individuals, between populations, and between organisms and their environment form ecological systems, or ecosystems. Modem ecology, however, is now focused on the concept of the ecosystem, a functional unit consisting of interacting organisms and all aspects of the environment in any specific area. It contains both the nonliving (abiotic) and living (biotic) components through which nutrients are cycled and energy flows.
