Грамматика английского языка, Проверочные работы, 8 класс, Барашкова Е.А., 2016.

   Данное пособие полностью соответствует федеральному государственному образовательному стандарту (второго поколения). Оно представляет собой четвёртую часть учебного комплекта, состоящего из четырёх книг:
• Грамматика английского языка. Сборник упражнений. Часть 1
• Грамматика английского языка. Сборник упражнений. Часть 2
• Грамматика английского языка. Книга для родителей
• Грамматика английского языка. Проверочные работы.
В пособие включены проверочные задания для контроля усвоения грамматического материала 8 класса. Проверка проводится в конце каждой четверти. Каждая работа имеет четыре варианта. Дома учащиеся готовятся к проверочной работе, просматривая все четыре варианта. На уроке преподаватель сообщает, какой именно вариант следует сделать. Учащиеся выполняют задания, вырезают страницу из книжки и сдают её на проверку.
Мы намеренно не дали ключи к заданиям. Тем, кто систематически делал упражнения из СБОРНИКА, выполнить предлагаемые работы не составит труда. Если при подготовке все же возникнут сложности, то прочитать соответствующее правило и найти ответ можно в КНИГЕ ДЛЯ РОДИТЕЛЕЙ. Номер соответствующего параграфа указан рядом с каждым заданием.
Проверочные работы можно использовать и в дидактических целях.

• Грамматика английского языка. Проверочные работы.
Книга содержит объяснение всех грамматических правил, которые изучаются в 4 классе, разбор типичных ошибок и рекомендации по работе над грамматикой. В книгу включены также ключи к упражнениям из Сборника.
Для родителей, чьи дети изучают язык по учебнику «Английский язык: учеб. для IV кл. шк. с углубл. изучением англ. яз., лицеев и гимназий / И. Н. Верещагина, О. В. Афанасьева. — М.: Просвещение».

Kernel One, O’Neill R., 1978.

   Kernel One is organised around a number of characters and a story line. This story line develops gradually, and at first revolves only around the main themes of the book (eg travel, finding a place to live, getting a job etc). But towards the end it becomes an exciting kidnap plot involving all the characters in the book.
Kernel One has a careful structural progression with specific communicative aims. The language presented is relevant for such operations as introducing yourself, asking where other people live and work, expressing requests, making suggestions, giving simple instructions and much more. However, the language is presented progressively, so that learners gradually acquire both insight into the structure of the language, and creative, independent control of what they want to say.
The book has eighteen mam units and one final summing-up unit In addition, there are at the end of the book five special two-page units designed to give extra practice in reading and writing.

   The Children’s Illustrated Thesaurus is easy to use when you want to find a synonym to improve your writing. Synonyms are words that can have the same meaning as other words – see page 6 for more information.

There are 26 units in the book: 13 grammar units and 13 vocabulary units.
